Legal

Privacy Policy

This policy explains how Cartoonio collects, uses, stores, and shares information when you use cartoonio.net and its cartoon-generation, community, account, and YouTube upload features.

Who is responsible

Cartoonio, the service operating at cartoonio.net, is responsible for the information described in this policy. Privacy questions and requests can be sent to 11anteante11@gmail.com.

Information we collect

How we use information

We use information to authenticate users; create, save, render, translate, and deliver cartoons; process requested uploads; provide community features; estimate and record generation costs; prevent abuse; troubleshoot problems; communicate about the service; and comply with legal obligations.

AI and service providers

To perform actions you request, Cartoonio may send relevant prompts, scripts, images, audio, video, or account data to configured providers. These may include OpenRouter and model providers available through it, Google services, YouTube, ElevenLabs, SMTP2GO, hosting, database, storage, and security providers. Each provider processes data under its own terms and privacy policy.

Google and YouTube data

Cartoonio requests YouTube upload access only when you choose to connect a channel. It uses that access to upload the exact video and metadata you review. OAuth tokens are encrypted before storage. You can disconnect YouTube in Cartoonio and can also revoke access from your Google Account permissions.

Cartoonio's use and transfer of information received from Google APIs follows the Google API Services User Data Policy, including its Limited Use requirements.

Sharing and public content

We do not sell your personal information. We share information with service providers as needed to operate requested features, when you choose to publish content to the Cartoonio community or YouTube, when required by law, or when necessary to protect users, the service, and legal rights. Content you publish can be viewed and shared by others.

Storage, security, and retention

We use reasonable safeguards, including encrypted storage for YouTube tokens, but no system is completely secure. We retain information while your account or projects remain active and as reasonably needed for operations, security, dispute resolution, and legal compliance. Deleting a project removes its service record and managed assets subject to backups and legal retention.

Cookies and local storage

Cartoonio uses essential session cookies and browser local storage for sign-in security and preferences such as language and appearance. These technologies are necessary for the requested service features.

Your choices and rights

Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, restrict, object to, or receive a copy of personal information, and to withdraw consent. You may also complain to your local data-protection authority. Contact us to make a request; we may need to verify your identity.

International processing

Providers may process information in countries other than yours. Where required, appropriate legal safeguards are used for international transfers.

Children

Cartoonio is not directed to children under 13 and they may not create an account without authorization and supervision from a parent or legal guardian. Contact us if you believe a child provided personal information improperly.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy as the service or legal requirements change. The effective date above identifies the current version. Material changes will be communicated where reasonably required.
